Calculate Body Mass Index (BMI) online

Do you need to lose weight? Online body mass calculator (obesity).

Body Mass Index (BMI) is a number calculated from a person's weight and height. BMI provides a reliable indicator of body fatness for most men and women between the ages of 18 and 65 years, and is used to screen for weight categories that may lead to health problems.

BMIClassification (World Health Organization)
< 20 Underweight
20 - 25 Normal (healthy weight)
25 - 30 Overweight
30 - 35 Obese Class I (Moderately obese)
35 - 40 Obese Class II (Severely obese)
> 40 Obese Class III (Very severely obese)

A healthy BMI score is between 20 and 25. A score below 20 indicates that you may be underweight; a value above 25 indicates that you may be overweight. Please remember, however, that this is only one of many possible ways to assess your weight. If you have any concerns about your weight, please discuss them with your physician, who is in a position, unlike this BMI calculator, to address your specific individual situation.
